MEMBERSHIPS
Is myFitness onsite open to the Community and Sun Life Retirees?
Starting on March 6th, 2023, myFitness onsite fitness center will be open to:
- Sun Life employees
- Sun Life onsite contractors
- Sun Life Retirees
- Sun Life employee family members
We will be re-evaluating opening the membership up to community members in the future.
I was a past member and would like a refund on my membership. How do I do this?
If you paid for your onsite membership in 2019/2020 and would like a refund, please reach out to info@my-fitness.ca. We need to hear from you to provide you with this refund.
Please note that we will action refund requests received up until June 15, 2023 only.
To request a refund, please contact Josh Poore at info@my-fitness.ca, myFitness Manager, with details of your previous membership. Josh will confirm the refund amount and then request either a “VOID” cheque or banking information to process an electronic funds transfer. Please allow up to 2 weeks for the refund to be processed.

I'm currently a virtual member. How do I become an onsite member?
If you are already a myFitness Virtual member and would like to become an onsite member, simply log into your myFitness portal, head to the store and purchase the myFitness Onsite membership.
If I enroll, how do I renew my membership?
There is not an annual membership commitment. Your membership will automatically
continue on a month-to-month basis.
How can I cancel my membership?
Contact myFitness at info@my-fitness.ca. Please note we do require 30 days notice to cancel a membership.
OTHER AMENITIES
Are showers and washrooms available?
Yes, showers and washrooms are available for all members.
How can I rent a locker?
Contact the on-site myFitness manager for more information at info@myfitnesswaterloo.ca
Are changing rooms available?
You will require a PIN access number to use the changing rooms. Ask the on-site myFitness manager for assistance.
Is towel service available?
No, myFitness does not offer towel service at this time.

How do I contact the Incident Reporting Centre at Sun Life?
For any security concerns or emergencies the Incident Reporting Centre is available 24/7 at toll-free at 888-224-8110 or internal at 441-2412.

PARKING
Where can SUN LIFE EMPLOYEES find parking at the Waterloo King location?
Parking on-site is now managed through Hotspot parking. You will need to register and select your payment option: Pay the daily rate of $5 per day or choose the monthly option for $75.

Where can Sun Life RETIREES find parking at the Waterloo King location?
Between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, Sun Life Retirees must use street parking. No parking lot access will be made available. On-site parking is allowed at Hallman lot at no cost after 5 p.m. and before 7 a.m. For an Outline of the Onsite Parking locations please refer to the Waterloo King Parking map.

Where to Sun Life Employee FAMILY MEMBERS park at the Waterloo King location?
Sun Life employees can add family members to their Hotspot Parking account. This will allow family members to use the Hallman Lot during business hours (7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday). Hotspot parking fees still apply for added vehicles. A secondary parking pass will be provided for the family member. On-site parking is allowed at Hallman lot at no cost after 5 p.m. and before 7 a.m. Additionally, street parking during business hours is an option as well.
